Event Description

With more and more organizations moving key systems to the Cloud,  the issues of ‘big data’, data ownership, data security and data compliance require careful consideration to manage the risks of privacy, breach notification and loss of competitive advantage (as your data becomes part of a data set that enables benchmarking and erodes your advantage) that can arise in a cloud model. No longer is the dollar value of a contract a reasonable indicator of risk, instead organizations need to look to new data governance and internal control processes to identify and manage their data risks. Our discussion will focus on risk identification and practical mitigation strategies.
